The Wayfarers group is a welcoming community for young adults who love exploring Wisconsin’s outdoors. Come paddle, hike, bike, learn, and discover our state’s incredible natural places alongside others who are curious and passionate about nature.<\/p>\n
Through unique outdoor adventures, educational experiences, and social gatherings, the Wayfarers group brings people together to build connections, deepen appreciation for Wisconsin’s landscapes, and support conservation in fun, meaningful ways. From trail days and volunteer projects to casual meetups and happy hours, there are plenty of ways to get involved at whatever level works for you.<\/p>\n

This is a 3.8-mile loop out and back, estimated 1 hour to complete. Followed by an optional lunch meetup at Cool City Brewing Company.<\/span> Parking information: The Dunes Segment connects to the Aurora Medical Center complex and is easily accessible from there. We will wander through this great site along with knowledgeable volunteers and fill our bags with native plant seeds in the process. These seeds will help projects nearby to restore former ag fields.
