The Community of Practice is a network of 100+ Wisconsin conservation and environmental education groups committed to collectively advancing efforts to center diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in our work.<\/p>\n
Established in 2021, the Community of Practice offers an intentional space to learn together, to set goals for personal and professional growth, and to catalyze action within Wisconsin\u2019s conservation field.<\/p>\n
From supporting organizations with how to build diversity, equity, and inclusion into their operations, to sharing best practices on authentically engaging the communities who have been historically excluded from conservation efforts, the Community of Practice offers facilitated discussions and a way to exchange ideas and resources so we can hold each other accountable and strive to move this important work forward.<\/p>\n

The facilitated meetings provide space for participants to share ideas, perspectives, challenges, and opportunities, as well as learn and discuss about specific topics. Meetings include a mix of reflective sessions and presentations from guest speakers. Please note these meetings are not recorded, in order to provide a safe space for our participants.<\/p>\n The Community of Practice offers continued learning opportunities to keep our broader conservation community learning and engaging in diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.
