The park features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers. It&#8217;s also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope. Wildlife viewing is enhanced during the winter months, when fewer park visitors are present. From frosted landscapes to frozen waterfalls, this is truly a magical season in our country\u2019s first national park.<\/p>\n<h3>Trip Highlights<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enjoy multiple guided explorations. <\/strong>\u00a0Travel by minibus, snowcoach, and on foot with professional guides, whose knowledge of the ecology, geothermal features and wildlife of Yellowstone is unmatched.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Search for wolves<\/strong>. \u00a0Head out with a Yellowstone Forever naturalist guide to search for Yellowstone\u2019s elusive wolves and other wildlife.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Observe wildlife at every turn<\/strong>. Cost includes 6 nights lodging (including 2 nights in the famed Snow Lodge at Old Faithful and 2 nights in the historic Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel), most meals (breakfasts and lunches), guided tours, two all-day snow coach tours to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Old Faithful and Norris Geyser Basin, donation to NRF, and ground transportation after meeting in Bozeman.
